Nate Kanyinda

Hello my name is Nate Kanyinda. At the age of 17 after an entire year of being ‘witnessed to’ by a high school friend, I finally decided to turn away from a really ungodly life and I began to serve God seriously. I kissed all of my baby mama’s goodbye, and sold all of my fast cars :) At the age of 18, I gave up a college basketball scholarship, and instead, I started a non-profit organization that opened opportunities for me to travel and speak in different churches, throw really large concert-events, and minister to a diverse group of young people.

During those years I developed a strong passion for students. In May of 2010, I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in biology and psychology. I believe that God has called me to travel, see the world, and help many through missions, and human rights. Outreach is so powerful because it allows you to be ridiculously creative and at the same time it opens the door to be brutally honest. I am willing to do anything to reach out to someone. I don’t care if it means buying 300 puppies, putting scripture tags on them, and releasing them in mass in the Coronado mall. The truth is, even the smallest amount of light in the darkest of places is enough to cause the inertia needed for a movement. Movements begin when people start to dream, and people start to dream when they are exposed to desperate needs.
